Giving Friends is a NY-based grassroots non-profit founded over 25 years ago by Lynne Corry. Lynne faced extreme hardships herself with poverty and addiction. Luckily Lynn and her son Tyler found help at a treatment center and today she helps families by empowering them through her work at Giving Friends which allows families, children, and adolescents in the community to get the support they need to broaden horizons and have improved perspectives for the future.
For families living in precarious conditions Giving Friends has become a trusted institution they can turn to for comfort through items of basic needs and even a holiday gift drive where families can restore joy and boost their morale.
