We are excited to announce our support for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). We hope to support their mission using our agency’s day-to-day operations and resources.
We love the work done by CCI because their goal is to train assistance animals and match them with people living with disabilities. This remarkable non-profit helps people from all walks of life: kids, seniors, and veterans alike. A service dog can certainly enhance the lives of people with disabilities and provide some much-needed independence which allows them to live with more confidence and purpose.
Did you know that in the U.S. 1 in 5 people live with a disability and have difficulties performing daily everyday tasks and activities? Turning on light switches and opening the refrigerator might be simple tasks to some but super important for those with limited mobility. An assistance animal can certainly help and we want to make sure that those who can’t pay for one will still have access to a highly trained service dog. We invite our friends, neighbors, and client to take part in our campaign!
